To ensure that our students are applying what they are learning in class, teachers assign a weekly portfolio project. These portfolio projects consist of writing, listening, and an activity project. The writing assignments are composed of prompts and grammar lessons from the unit lessons that were taught during the week. The listening activity is also based on the unit that was covered during the week. Students are instructed to listen to a transcript and to fill in the missing information. Lastly, the activity project is an assignment that is also based on the lessons from the week. Students are instructed to present on a topic from the week's lessons. These presentations are assigned on Friday and are shared with the class on the following Monday. Presentations allow students to practice their speaking skills and enable our teachers to view student's progress.
